Meet Valerie, the creator of Mommy’s Fitness Time
Certified Fitness Trainer specializing in preventative and post-injury workout routines and high intensity boot camps (trained members of Secret Service and US Military).
Professional cook focused on nutrition and healthy eating, worked at one of DC’s top restaurants, Zaytinya, owned by master chef José Andrés.
Specialization in golf-specific exercise routines (4 years NCAA Golf, 2010 Centennial Conference Champion).
B.A. Exercise Science and Physical Education (McDaniel College), NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, and CPR/AED Certified.
Mommy’s Fitness Time was created to combine Valerie’s passions for food, family, and exercise. She wants to offer a program with realistic and attainable expectations for mommies and their busy lifestyles.
What Valerie says:
“My training in sports throughout the years inspired me to share what I know about fitness with others so they too can live a healthy, active life. After college, I decided to explore another aspect of a living a healthy lifestyle, food. I began to work in a professional kitchen and discovered even more about how food and exercise permit a balanced and healty lifestyle.”
